We work out of our home studio in Anchorage, Alaska and on location sites by appointment throughout Southeast Alaska, but primarily in the Anchorage-Matsu Borough and south to the peninsula.
Destination Weddings are available upon prior arrangement.
Yes, we work by appointment reserved with a deposit.
We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept cash and cashier's checks drawn on local banks. Personal checks will only be accepted for deposits. All final payments must be by cash, credit/debit card, or cashier's check.
We shoot between 500 and 2000 images in a typical wedding. All images go through a multi-step sorting and editing process. The first sort is to remove unusable images. The second sort is to select the best images. The third sort is to select the group of images that tells the couples' story. Only the final sort is edited for color balancing and optimizing images. Then the best images are edited for showing. Professional retouching is a time-consuming process and therefore is only done on specific images, primarily for images that will become wall enlargements, albums, or prints. Therefore, there is not a set answer to this question. Portrait previews are usually available within 10-14 days, and Wedding Previews are usually available within 2-3 weeks, and final images usually 4-6 weeks from date of order, depending upon type of retouching requested and the final format.
All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits may be transferred to another appointment time for portrait and engagement sessions with 48 hours prior notice. Weddings require payment in full 30 days prior to the wedding day. Wedding cancellations are non-refundable, but may be rescheduled with 30 days prior notice.
All print, album, and enlargement orders require a 50% deposit to place order and are to be paid in full on delivery.
All rescheduled appointments will be based on availability.
